      Nothing I can say here.

The family say they attempted to report the images to Instagram but received a response that

the pictures did not breach their community standards.

I appreciate you can't innoculate immature minded juveniles to not tune in to Facebook or other social network sites - but I wish it were so.

I didn't grow up with a network of negativity like this at my fingertips. Bullying and negative self imaging existed pre Facbook era - I can't be ignorant of that fact. But the existence of monstrously intended bullying and negative self imagery/self harming going on all over Facebook is a true societal crises.

The fact a billionaire who created all of this - wants to suggest now his corporation can choose to condone it because it discretionarily meets his corporatist "community" standards - whoa there. He truly wields far too much societal power - over the world.

Akin to mind control innoculating Hitler. Just trust him with your lives - nothing wrong will happen if you follow along. We have "community standards".

Never mind those standards are a COMPLETE and cruel joke. Once you are hooked.

Yes, and the Instagram boss says now that he'll remove all images of self harm from the site but it will take a long time.

How many people need to die before they decide it's no good?

On another subject, it is illegal to show children under the age of 18 pornography in the UK, yet some 60% of children under the age of 13 have viewed it. (smartphones and the unternet,)
