I suspect there aren't a lot of Steven Bannon or Donald Trump fans on this site, so after what I heard him say in the defense of Roy Moore, while criticizing Mitt Romney for not serving in Vietnam, while at the same time supporting Donald Trump for what he did during Vietnam, it occurred to me that for every action there is a reaction. In physics, it's an equal and opposite reaction. But I digress.
So the republican party is telling us that they can't stop Roy Moore, a credibly accused pedophile, from becoming a member of the United States Senate, and that it is left to the people of Alabama to decide if they want a pedophile representing them in the senate. Well, not so fast republicans.
Unless the good ole people of Alabamy are different from people in the rest of the world, money talks and bullshirt walks.
So what social media needs to do is organize a boycott of anything having to do with Alabamy, IF the good ole people of Alabamy sends Roy Moore to the United States Senate. The boycott should include the NCAA College Football Championship playoffs for games in which Auburn or Alabama plays. YES, this should be a SERIOUS boycott, and I know football fans, especially college football fans, are as loyal as any group of people in the world. Probably more loyal than Trump supporters.
However, football games have corporate sponsors, and if those sponsors honor ad commitments to a game in which a team from Alabamy plays in, IF Alabamy sends Roy Moore to the United States Senate, those sponsors should be boycotted.
