If the republican tax reform bill is enacted into law, the 62% of Americans who own homes will lose the deduction for property taxes. That change probably won't have the same affect on the 1% that it has on others. So explain to me again. WHY would anyone who is not wealthy vote for republicans????

With their current performance, the only possible reason is the other lot are seen as worse. The Dems need to find a good spokesperson, and fast.

You remember a couple of years ago some GOP politician talked about how when a conservative voter drove through a wealthy neighborhood, they weren't filled with envy but thought to themselves "We'll be joining you soon"? I think a lot of them bought that hook, line and sinker. I think some of them really believe if they just keep supporting the GOP, they'll soon be doing well financially soon.

Once again the party of stupid voters voted for these morons by voting against their own interests.

If this latest stupidity from republicans actually passes wait till the supporters of republicans find out they have been ripped off so the rich can get another tax cut that we all will be paying for.

I have never seen a group of a$$holes hell bent on screwing so many people just to say they actually passed something. Republicans are good at costing people more money with the various schemes they come up with. Fees being raised on services is their favorite ones I've seen.

Instead of using the words tax increase they use increased fees for services. I guess to the idiots that support them when it sounds better it isn't as hard on your wallet even though both are the same, a tax increase.
