Just this morning I had an interesting conversation with a family member who has been an Intel Officer for almost 30 years. He is a Colonel in the United States Marines. He has filled out dozens of SF-86 security disclosure forms in his career. To say the least, he is appalled at what is happening in this country. (Sad - disgusted - enraged is more like it !)

Here is a brief synopsis from the "horse's mouth" regarding the updating of a SF-86 Security Disclosure - ala Jared Kushner, Donnie Jr. and probably others in Trump's Reich:

The SF-86 is a legally binding document with severe penalties for falsifying information. Knowingly failing to provide information is a FELONY. If one fails to disclose a meeting with a foreign agent (a Russian lawyer or Russian agent come to mind) - one could find himself/herself in jail. NO - NONE - ZIPPO Intel Officers are given the option of "updating" their SF-86 Security Disclosures.

Giving these two clowns a "do-over" is a criminal violation of US law. They should be stripped of their clearance and investigated for criminal misconduct. (This includes EVERYBODY involved !) Otherwise, it is impossible to hold anyone in government service accountable to legal standards.

Bottom line: Pure and simple - If the President of the United States and his closest advisers are crooks, then the government itself is crooked !

The notion that colluding with a foreign nation or foreign nationals to influence an election is not a crime, is BS. Pure and simple. And when the press and cable news pundits allow republicans to say it isn't, they contribute to the alternate facts Trump and his minions promote. It is fairly easy to find out if something is a crime. The Cornell Law School has a website, https://www.law.cornell.edu/lii/about/who_we_are. It is a very respected and useful tool to research legal issues.

U.S. Code 52 Section 30121 is not complicated. It clearly states that accepting monetary donations or any other thing of value from foreign nationals is unlawful related to an election . This code does not exempt the family of a candidate from accepting things of value. What Donald Trump, Jr. has admitted to doing in the email exchange with the Russian attorney is a clear violation of U.S. Code 52 Section 30121.

The Trump team's excuse that they didn't actually get anything of value related to Clinton is immaterial, because first we don't know that they did not actually receive anything, and second, it doesn't matter because they sought to received something of value.

Additionally, there is the issue of the Logan Act violation and bribery related the Trump campaign discussing repealing the Magnitsky Act if Trump is elected.

The orange clown has insulted our intelligence long enough. Now they are trying to "spin" it that Donnie Jr. was just naive . . . . he has never been in politics before. Really ? Our teenage grandchildren have never been in politics either . . . . but they have studied history enough to know Russia has been an adversary for a looooong time, AND we shouldn't play "footsies" with them.

However, his supporters will lap it up.

THIS is what happened in the 1950s to those who got a little too friendly with Trump's new best ally !! (or should I say, his blackmailer ?)

I highly doubt Donnie Jr. filled out the original one. He doesn't appear to be the "brightest bulb on the Christmas tree" . . . 127 pages would be way beyond his attention span !! (Like father, like son)

And they ALL pale in comparison to the present crop of A-Team Cooks and likely Traitors. We have never in our long history had top members of an Administration and close family members and associates of the Prez, if not the Prez himself, under investigation for acts that if proven in court can put them away for a very long time for espionage and treason!!!
