It no longer matters what Mueller's investigation determines related to whether or not Trump knew of, or directed the 101 connections between his team and Russia.

There are three severely compelling reasons to impeach Trump. First, in Germany last year, Trump met with Putin with no other American present. This happened in the middle of a counter intelligence investigation to determine if Trump is working on behalf of Russia. Well, here's your sign! Why would the President of The United States of America meet with Putin with no other American present UNLESS he is a Russian spy and he thinks the American government is too weak to do anything about it??? Trump's and Putin's seeming calculation is that the American government will spend the next two years arguing essentially over whether the president has the constitutional powers to be a traitor, and as long as republicans control the Senate, the conclusion will be that he does.

Second, Trump with the support of congressional republicans has done everything he could to PUBLICLY obstruct the Mueller investigation into whether Trump and his team conspired with Putin to steal the 2016 presidential election.

Third, Trump and congressional republicans have shut the American government down, which not only threatens the national security of the USA, but also adversely impacts the lives and livelilhood of over 800,000 federal workers and millions of American citizens. Who benefits from the American government being shut down, more than Putin?

The Democratic controlled House of Representatives SHOULD begin impeachment of Trump immediately, although it is a foregone conclusion that the republican controlled Senate will not convict him and remove him from office. The remedy for that is for American voters to remove both Trump and republicans from public office in 2020.

On January 6, 2017, the U.S. intelligence community issued a report that showed there were two campaigns to elect Donald Trump: one run by Trump and one run by the Russian government. Trump and many of his senior advisors and close associates have repeatedly denied any connections between the two campaigns, despite the fact that they were working towards the same goal, at the same time, and utilizing the same tactics.

Yet over the past year, we’ve learned about a series of meetings and contacts between individuals linked to the Russian government and Trump’s campaign and transition team. In total, we have learned of 101 contacts between Trump’s team and Russia linked operatives, including at least 28 meetings. And we know that at least 28 high-ranking campaign officials and Trump advisors were aware of contacts with Russia-linked operatives during the campaign and transition. None of these contacts were ever reported to the proper authorities. Instead, the Trump team tried to cover up every single one of them.

Why were there so many meetings? What was discussed in them? More importantly, why did Trump and his camp lie about them, including to federal law enforcement? What are they hiding?

      The American people deserve answers.

      https://www.nytimes.com/2019/01/15/us/politics/trump-putin-meetings.html

WASHINGTON — The first time they met was in Germany. President Trump took his interpreter’s notes afterward and ordered him not to disclose what he heard to anyone. Later that night, at a dinner, Mr. Trump pulled up a seat next to President Vladimir V. Putin to talk without any American witnesses at all.

Their third encounter was in Vietnam when Mr. Trump seemed to take Mr. Putin’s word that he had not interfered in American elections. A formal summit meeting followed in Helsinki, Finland, where the two leaders kicked out everyone but the interpreters. Most recently, they chatted in Buenos Aires after Mr. Trump said they would not meet because of Russian aggression.

Mr. Trump has adamantly insisted there was “no collusion” with Russia during his 2016 presidential campaign. But each of the five times he has met with Mr. Putin since taking office, he has fueled suspicions about their relationship. The unusually secretive way he has handled these meetings has left his own administration guessing what happened and piqued the interest of investigators.

“What’s disconcerting is the desire to hide information from your own team,” said Andrew S. Weiss, who was a Russia adviser to President Bill Clinton. “The fact that Trump didn’t want the State Department or members of the White House team to know what he was talking with Putin about suggests it was not about advancing our country’s national interest but something more problematic.”

Some of the crazy stuff Trump haters come up with to bash the president are so ridiculous , they are actually funny. The Democrats are just as responsible for the shut down as the president with their childish refusal to compromise.

Do you remember the meeting between Reagan and Gorbi? The meetings between Carter and the president of Egypt? The meetings between Nixon and the Chinese Premier? How about the one that Hillary sold a fair amount of uranium to Russia? Remember any of those? We heard about them. They had a photo op. Pictures of them together. That was pretty much it. American interpreters were present. How about the meeting between Bill and attorney general Lynch on a tarmac. The just happen to land at the same airport, push all reporters well away to talk about the grand children??

Do you actually read what you type or do you only have a problem with it and think its illegal if your republican? Hillary rigging the primary is perfectly okay? Trump didn't rig anything.

I certainly hope he talks to Russia. And as far as talking to Russians when he was campaigning to be president, this is America, we can talk to whoever the hell we want. Part of that first amendment thing, you remember the first amendment? We can even do it in private.

The Trump company was looking into a branded hotel in Moscow before the run for president. Cohen was vice president in the Trump organization. He had the ability to negotiate and agree to the building of a Moscow Trump tower, if it had gotten that far. It didn't. You do realize that for any American business to do business overseas, requires state dept. help and negotiations. Probably has much more experience negotiating with foreign governments than the former junior senator, your hero, Obama. Who signed off on the deal sending $5 Billion to iran as "leverage money" in a midnight run without congress approval. Why would congress need to approve?? Pretty simple. Congress ALONE HAS THE NATIONS CHECKBOOK!! Where did Obama get $5 BILLION IN CASH??

Oh, I know...its not about Obama or Hillary. Yes it is. They are the one's that set the precedent. ONLY CONGRESS can make treaties. The president the last to sign, NOT THE ONLY ONE TO SIGN AND DO IT BEHIND CLOSED DOORS!! Call it a deal, and the uranium is sold to the great enemy. A huge cash donation to the foundation with love from Moscow. And not a word from you. If Trump had done such a thing, you'd be screaming impeachment. And if he did such a thing, I would join you. Because I was typing about at the time it happened. And being called names and racist for typing such a thing.

Precedent is everything in law. The Jim Crow laws were evil when they were passed by congress, upheld for 100 years before the laws and idea of separate but equal were finally seen for what it was. Obama set a number of precedents. Declaring broad powers over immigration, his executive order and enforcement of DACA is illegal. It contradicts laws passed by congress and it levied a tax. Only congress has the power to authorize the collection of fees by an agency. DACA cost $495 to apply. Non-refundable. And worse, contradicted immigration laws passed by congress. If allowed to stand, and it was, that means ANYTHING passed by congress became a SUGGESTION on that day Obama set that precedent. Executive orders CAN NOT TRUMP LAWS PASSED BY CONGRESS. No pun intended.

Sadly, all your accusations, all your marches, all your screaming for impeachment is one administration too late. Because Trump has reversed or tried to reverse most of Obama's illegal orders. And has begun and tried to begin to return the presidency back to enforcing the laws passed by congress. That is the job of president. Anyone who said Trump has not the authority to end DACA is right, the president doesn't have the authority to create it in the first place. Which makes the order ending it all the more proper. Giving time for congress to legislate a version, made Trump's order fair.

Mueller had over a MILLION pages of documents to go through looking for evidence. How exactly was Trump covering anything up? Or have we forgotten that SAVING documents is not a cover up. Wiping hard drives, hammers to blackberry's, shredding and burning documents, is a cover up. You know, like Hillary did after being ordered to surrender computers and phone's to the FBI, they gave her three weeks, was it? To go through and erase her "private emails not pertaining to state dept. business". Do you know what would be said if Cohen was allowed to do this??

Oh sorry, I'm forgetting its only wrong if your republican and/or if you won the election. There is a broken cookie jar, and the breaker of that cookie jar is pointing at the other claiming "he did it." Your party demands absolute blind loyalty saying, "this isn't about Hillary, this isn't about the DNC rigging its own primary, its all about Trump." Did Hillary not run in the 2016 election that is this cookie jar?? You have nothing to show Trump has acted in anything other than the better interests of the nation. And his enforcement of the laws PASSED BY CONGRESS that Obama decided he didn't have to enforce. Saying, "To those who question my authority in doing this, I say to them, pass a bill." THEY DID PASS A BILL!! And Obama was refusing to do the job and protect the constitution when he claimed broad power, then executive ordered something that conflicted with laws passed by congress. Yes, immigration law needs to be readdressed, but it MUST COME FROM CONGRESS. Until it does, the laws passed are to be enforced by the president.

As far as Putin's denial of interfering, what do you expect Trump to do? Trump has not been briefed by the "intelligence community" since the inauguration. You expect him to say, "yes you did", "N o we didn't" until blue? Is this what you expect him to do? Obviously you would considering you think Trump should.

The next step, is to give the president evidence to show Putin. It should be like the picture of Russian missiles in Cuba kind of evidence. Which was denied by Russia. Undeniable after the pictures of missiles on the ground in Cuba were shown. What evidence was handed to Trump or the U.N. ambassador to show the world the interference of Russia in our democracy? Mueller's indictment of Russian hackers? During the press conference by the FBI, by Mueller's boss, he stated there was no contact between those hackers and campaign staff. Which means no links between those hackers given by name and address and Trump or staff. Funny how nobody replays that press conference, but they replayed the hell out of the one Acosta was in. Do you remember the question Acosta asked?? It was about making the caravan that was months away a political weapon and calling it an invasion. Must of been a good answer because that gets left out. Funny part was that caravan Acosta said was months away, arrived at the border the day after that Acosta question. CNN, accurate as always, right? They don't report that part either, just something you have to notice on your own. Acosta was rude, Trump gave good answers to his questions and showed more patience than he's given credit for. Acosta should be booted from the white house. It isn't stopping the freedom of the press. Its not like Acosta is the ONLY reporter in the press pool or the only one CNN has.

There is only one reason for Acosta doing what he did. Viewership. I am sure it made all you bed wetters giddy with delight. There may come a time when the people has to get rude about things. Viewership isn't the right reason or right at all.

As far as the shut down goes, its what happens when congress doesn't pass a budget to fund the government. And until they do pass something and it lands on the presidents desk, the shutdown is 100% the fault of congress. Only when they pass a budget and it lands on the presidents desk AND HE VETOES IT, will Trump be the proud owner. The president can't keep congress from doing their job and passing the legislation. And he isn't preventing them from doing it. Regardless of wall funding, regardless of if it will pass the senate or the president threat of a veto. The fact that NOTHING IS BEING LEGISLATED IN THE HOUSE OR SENATE, BOTH, MAKES IT 100% THE FAULT OF CONGRESS.

Also, since Pelosi is so concerned with security, and the shut down affecting homeland security and secret service, the president should immediately CLOSE THE BORDER. If customs is also affected, then limited airport entries as well. Nobody comes in without a passport. Use the national guard to secure the border that Pelosi says is such a security concern that the state of the union address can not be given. Stop ALL air travel in the U.S. airspace during the address, fly armed fighters over Washington. If Pelosi is implying Washington D.C. is not secure enough for the state of the union address, then why isn't she doing her job and fund the wall and other security measures they claim there is, but can't say what they are. They can't say because they did not fund anything extra for border security and plugging up the porous border. They added nothing for more people, technology, or for the state of California to stop breaking federal and constitution laws. Stop rewarding those hopping the fence with welfare, free medical, and stop allowing them to vote. Illegal immigrants do not have a right to vote, should not be considered for redistricting and do not have a right to be represented in congress. If you want them to, CHANGE THE LAW LEGALLY. Not break it and claim something about American values. How dare democrats claim walls are immoral while they live in GATED COMMUNITIES. If that's how Pelosi feels, why does she still have a seventh century wall around her mansions?? What happens if anyone goes over her wall? And you support that loon welding power as a dictator. Trying to silence the president of the united states, claiming lack of security and she refuses to legislate the security the president is asking for??

The same amount Obama sent to iran who still chants death to America, still threatens and promises to wipe Israel off the face of the earth, way less than the $90 BILLION train in California, and Trump is the traitor??? Not the dictator refusing to fund the security of the capital and nation?? Until a bill lands on Trump's desk, its 100% the fault of congress, the shutdown is. The president can only suggest the budget, its congress that writes it.

I highly recommend you all write your congress person, tell them to pass a budget yesterday and secure the capital, the border and this nation. If you want to put on your pussy hats, by all means. Pelosi too scared of the truth? She just confirmed what Trump has been saying and the need for better security and vetting all who enter. Its not unreasonable.

Denying the request and allowing the capital to be unsecured, is treachery, traitorous, obscene, and committing acts that make Pelosi the poster child (loon) for term limits. Which I oppose. The people are suppose to decide that. The people in California are showing off their 49th spot in education superbly re-electing czar Pelosi. Her denying the state of the union address for the given reason is nothing to cheer or be proud of. And if you say, "its not really for that reason". Then we all know who the liars are, don't we?? You shouldn't be proud of that or cheering for that either.

              But, whatever...

Are you a Russian operative, or are you just an idiot?

In ALL of the examples of actual meeting between American presidents and heads of states, other Americans were present to witness them. There was actually no connection with the so-called uranium one scandal and Hillary Clinton. When the U.S. government was completely controlled by Putin and republicans, you people did absolutely NOTHING about this supposed crime. Do you realize at all how stupid and ignorant it makes you appear for mention crap like that in a serious discussion about Trump working on behalf of Russia? Sure you do.

I suggested impeaching him because he met with Putin WITH NO OTHER AMERICAN PRESENT, WHILE HE IS BEING INVESTIGATED FOR CONSPIRING WITH PUTIN TO STEAL THE 2016 PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION.

I am wondering if all this info we are getting is even being taken seriously. Mueller has the US at a standstill wondering if we are a hour away from a crisis to be carried out by Trump. I heard more Republicans are on Mueller's side now, but it's not enough to secure our nation against someone that has done treason against the US. We need all of this to end now before Trump does damage that could take decades for us to fix. Having the news is great but acting in a manner that protects the US against a foreign foe should be more front and center than it is. Not even Congress is acting with the concern they should be. Why?
