It is what Government refuses to fix that causes those walls to go up in the first place. Governance is the problem not the people. The wall will solve nothing . Stop glorifying poverty, starvation, death, greed, racism, lack of healthcare, famine, ignorance, religion intolerance, war, inflation, and violence, because all of this is related to governance for which is why Government is bent on building walls instead of fixing their glorified excuses for people leaving countries with the issues. The people leave theses areas just to be treated worse than dogs. Instead of help they are abused and neglected. Ask why they are leaving their countries and fix that.

and for gods sake fix the borders and their centers so they are humane.

      shameful

...Remember this. Throughout the ages some things NEVER get better and NEVER change. You have Walls and you have Wheels. It was ALWAYS that way and it will ALWAYS be that way! Please explain to the Democrats that there can NEVER be a replacement for a good old fashioned WALL!

      — Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) January 1, 2019

and I have to say Trumps words are cruel. He has no intentions on fixing anything. He only wants to cover it up.

Just had a group "gassed" for trying to , wait for it , climb over "the wall" ...

Somehow this idiot thinks that a "wall" will stop everyone ...

Maybe why the Dems have approved money for added security ...

Read that "boots on the ground" ...

The only way to "stop" anything ...

The resources the "bad guys" have , I'm sure are hoping for a wall ...

They'll breach it over and over ....

I can think of a dozen ways , and I'm not the bad guys ...

          Plasma cutter ?

Truck tied to the "slats" ?

          Come on folks ...

This at a time when we should be joining together ...

          Be smart !

          J . A . B . I .

When thinking about the wall and barriers, will it stop trade between the two countries. How many products in the grocery stores are from Mexico, and how many American products are sold in Mexico? No more transportation of goods between the two countries. Forget about trade and commerce that make countries thrive.

Yes, the other countries need fixing, but the US cannot fix the whole world, especially since some would disagree about what fixing means. As an example, I understand Puerto Rico is still in severe trouble from the hurricane. If politics gets in the road of fixing what is the next best thing to being part of the US, you can't expect much to go to the default systems elsewhere.

Democrats who go to Puerto Rico to help raise funds for hurricane relief are accused by trump fanatics of "partying on the beach" instead of caving to trump's demands for wall funding.

The U.S. can fix the actions that cause the problems these people are fleeing from, since we're the ones responsible. After decades of the U.S. backing military coups, helping to install dictators, U.S. corporations sucking the wealth from those countries, it's no wonder these people have to run for their lives. It is disingenuous at best and criminal at worst, to act the innocent victim of asylum seekers, we helped to create.

This is when a few or many get together and decide what they are willing to do and stick with it. I say roads, hospitals, power, education, water and law enforcement are number ones. Then you give them a list of things and they pick one or two from the list and you teach, as well and build at the same time. Maybe they want education buildings or airports etc. But what ever the case those helping are teachers too. Then you create a plan that instills a job(s) in the area. Farming, construction and so on. It's not a overnight deal to get this done. I will take decades and done in a certain order.

Puerto Rico had such a hard time of it because even when they got the heavy equipment to build the roads back and clear the areas of debris they had no one that knew how to use the equipment their one person was missing and presumed dead. FEMA brought in all kinds of goods but they never delivered the goods to the neighborhoods, the goods stayed in a warehouse on the dock. There electrical grid was being worked on, but someone complained about the company so they were pulled and what the first company did in one month took the new company 6 months to do. Puerto Rico got shamed by a bunch of companies out to make a buck.
