Covering for MBS and his murder squad, in no way makes America Great. Supporting them makes us look, nearly as bad as them. We don't need their oil, they can shove their money too. I doubt any of us will miss it, since it generally goes to whomever in government willing to sell their loyalty for a price. Spilling one drop of American sweat, not to mention blood is more sacrifice than they deserve.

They are not our friends, they are no one's friend, but they have no trouble looking for tools and that is all we will ever be to them. Let us continue to be "nothing," to them because they are "nothing," to many of us and that is being kind. Mostly, I see them as monstrous, sadistic, dripping in misogyny, arrogance and judgment. They fund terrorism, then lie to our faces about it. Do they think no one's following the money? Who could say, other than they do not care who finds them out.

They are more trouble than they are worth, and I don't care how much they puff up Dirty Don's ego, he is a tool and he works just as well for them when he's in denial, trying to cover for them because...

Trump likely owes them money. Jared Kuschner owe them money. At best, the American people owe them a shoe to the head.

          .

It has long been my opinion that Trump is a terrible person and a wretched president, but what is worse is that IMO he is a criminal of the worst kind: A criminal that uses his wealth and power to commit crimes that affect the people of the United States.

He violated campaign finance laws by paying hush money to two women “in coordination with and at the direction of a candidate for federal office,” as a candidate, so for all intent and purposes it looks like he purposefully conspired with Cohen to commit crimes that were for the purpose of influencing our Federal election. *

He has walked allover the emoluments clause, used donated campaign funds to buy a huge painting of himself, and I think it will be proven that he is a tax cheat.**

Worst of all, Donald Trump's job is to protect the american Public, but instead he has denied that climate change/global warming is caused by humankind, and he continues to deny it while the effects can already be seen by all. His failure to instigate ways to fight climate change is made worse by his contributing to it with relaxed regulations, promotion of non renewable energy via the fosil fuel industry, and many lies about facts that science has repeatedly told us all. He has continuously brushed off what needs to be done to fight climate change, and is contributing to its devestating effects.

So, he is not only a horrid person and a heinous president, he is in my mind a criminal who is causing damage to all of the people he has been elected to protect. . . and also to all the humans on the planet. He should be held accountable!.

President Donald Trump, Florida Gov. Rick Scott, Florida Sen. Marco Rubio, and others who oppose action to address human-induced climate change should be held accountable for climate crimes against humanity. They are the authors and agents of systematic policies that deny basic human rights to their own citizens and people around the world, including the rights to life, health, and property. These politicians have blood on their hands, and the death toll continues to rise.

Image result for pictures of Scott, Rubio and Trump

Trump remains in willful denial of the thousands of deaths caused by his government's inept, under-funded, and under-motivated response to Hurricane Maria in Puerto Rico last year. The image that will remain in history is of the President gleefully throwing paper towels for a photo op as the people of Puerto Rico around him suffered and died of neglect. In September, Hurricane Florence claimed at least 48 lives, with more likely to come in its aftermath. Last month, Hurricane Michael claimed at least 32 lives, with more than a thousand people reportedly still missing. The final death toll will likely soar in the months ahead as the residual consequences of the storm become more clear.

As the Earth warms due to the continued burning of coal, oil, and gas, climate-related disasters that include high-intensity hurricanes, floods, droughts, extreme precipitation, forest fires, and heat waves, pose rising dangers to life and property. Hurricanes become more destructive as warmer ocean waters feed more energy to the storms. Warmer air also carries more moisture for devastating rainfalls, while rising sea levels lead to more flooding.

Yet Trump and his minions are the loyal servants of the fossil-fuel industry, which fill Republican partycampaign coffers. Trump has also stalled the fight against climate change by pulling out of the Paris Agreement. The politicians thereby deprive the people of their lives and property out of profound cynicism, greed, and willful scientific ignorance.

The first job of government is to protect the public. Real protection requires climate action on several fronts: educating the public about the growing dire risks of human-induced climate change; enacting legislation and regulations to ensure that families and businesses are kept out of harm's way, for example by stopping construction in flood plains, and investing in sustainable infrastructure to counteract rising sea levels; anticipating the rising frequency of high-intensity climate-related disasters through science-based preparedness following through on properly scaled disaster-response during and after storm events; and most importantly for the future, spearheading the rapid transition to zero-carbon energy to prevent much greater calamities in the years ahead.

This straightforward to-do list is the opposite of what Trump and his cronies are doing. Trump blithely disregards scientific findings about climate change and thereby exposes the nation to unprecedented risks. The officials he has appointed to the Environmental Protection Agency and other relevant parts of government are industry cronies and lobbyists far more interested in self-enrichment, padding their accounts, and helping their once-and-future employers than in doing their current jobs.

A group of world-leading ecologists recently highlighted that critical Earth systems could spiral out of control. The Nobel-prize winning Inter-Governmental Panel on Climate Change has also just released a harrowing report showing that the world has just a few years left to move decisively towards renewable energy if it hopes to achieve the globally agreed target to limit warming below 1.5 degrees Celsius above the pre-industrial average temperature of the planet.

The huge bills for Hurricanes Florence and Michael will now start rolling in: funerals, suffering, sorting through debris, and perhaps $30 billion in losses that could have been reduced dramatically through science-based planning and foresight. The American people are paying a heavy cost for the cynicism and cruelty of politicians in the pocket of the fossil-fuel industry. It is time to hold these reckless politicians to account.

I know folks--some of you, probably--who think Nancy Pelosi is an exemplar of the evils of corporatism and other folks--some of you, probably--who think she's an exemplar of the evils of blindly leftist thinking. Is she either? Is she both? Is there a better alternative for Speaker for progressive (or any other sort of) Democrats? If you want to be sure you're correct about Pelosi, you probably should read this--

In the midst of a Civil War that looked likely to split the nation in two, and to preserve the institution of slavery in the former United States as Federal Forces were defeated in engagement after engagement and as calls for an end of hostilities grew louder in Washington D.C.......Abraham Lincoln declared that the last Thursday of November was to be a National Day of Thanksgiving.

                  Proclamation of Thanksgiving

This is the proclamation which set the precedent for America's national day of Thanksgiving. During his administration, President Lincoln issued many orders similar to this. For example, on November 28, 1861, he ordered government departments closed for a local day of thanksgiving.

Sarah Josepha Hale, a 74-year-old magazine editor, wrote a letter to Lincoln on September 28, 1863, urging him to have the "day of our annual Thanksgiving made a National and fixed Union Festival." She explained, "You may have observed that, for some years past, there has been an increasing interest felt in our land to have the Thanksgiving held on the same day, in all the States; it now needs National recognition and authoritive fixation, only, to become permanently, an American custom and institution."

Prior to this, each state scheduled its own Thanksgiving holiday at different times, mainly in New England and other Northern states. President Lincoln responded to Mrs. Hale's request immediately, unlike several of his predecessors, who ignored her petitions altogether. In her letter to Lincoln she mentioned that she had been advocating a national thanksgiving date for 15 years as the editor of Godey's Lady's Book. George Washington was the first president to proclaim a day of thanksgiving, issuing his request on October 3, 1789, exactly 74 years before Lincoln's.

The document below sets apart the last Thursday of November "as a day of Thanksgiving and Praise." According to an April 1, 1864, letter from John Nicolay, one of President Lincoln's secretaries, this document was written by Secretary of State William Seward, and the original was in his handwriting. On October 3, 1863, fellow Cabinet member Gideon Welles recorded in his diary how he complimented Seward on his work. A year later the manuscript was sold to benefit Union troops.

                  Washington, D.C.
                  October 3, 1863

By the President of the United States of America.

                  A Proclamation.

The year that is drawing towards its close, has been filled with the blessings of fruitful fields and healthful skies. To these bounties, which are so constantly enjoyed that we are prone to forget the source from which they come, others have been added, which are of so extraordinary a nature, that they cannot fail to penetrate and soften even the heart which is habitually insensible to the ever watchful providence of Almighty God.

In the midst of a civil war of unequalled magnitude and severity, which has sometimes seemed to foreign States to invite and to provoke their aggression, peace has been preserved with all nations, order has been maintained, the laws have been respected and obeyed, and harmony has prevailed everywhere except in the theatre of military conflict; while that theatre has been greatly contracted by the advancing armies and navies of the Union.

Needful diversions of wealth and of strength from the fields of peaceful industry to the national defence, have not arrested the plough, the shuttle or the ship; the axe has enlarged the borders of our settlements, and the mines, as well of iron and coal as of the precious metals, have yielded even more abundantly than heretofore. Population has steadily increased, notwithstanding the waste that has been made in the camp, the siege and the battle-field; and the country, rejoicing in the consciousness of augmented strength and vigor, is permitted to expect continuance of years with large increase of freedom.

No human counsel hath devised nor hath any mortal hand worked out these great things. They are the gracious gifts of the Most High God, who, while dealing with us in anger for our sins, hath nevertheless remembered mercy. It has seemed to me fit and proper that they should be solemnly, reverently and gratefully acknowledged as with one heart and one voice by the whole American People.

I do therefore invite my fellow citizens in every part of the United States, and also those who are at sea and those who are sojourning in foreign lands, to set apart and observe the last Thursday of November next, as a day of Thanksgiving and Praise to our beneficent Father who dwelleth in the Heavens.

And I recommend to them that while offering up the ascriptions justly due to Him for such singular deliverances and blessings, they do also, with humble penitence for our national perverseness and disobedience, commend to His tender care all those who have become widows, orphans, mourners or sufferers in the lamentable civil strife in which we are unavoidably engaged, and fervently implore the interposition of the Almighty Hand to heal the wounds of the nation and to restore it as soon as may be consistent with the Divine purposes to the full enjoyment of peace, harmony, tranquillity and Union.

In testimony whereof, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the Seal of the United States to be affixed.

Done at the City of Washington, this Third day of October, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and sixty-three, and of the Independence of the United States the Eighty-eighth.

                  By the President: Abraham Lincoln

Unanswered Question: Was Jamal Khashoggi Killed Because He Knew Something?

The slaying of Jamal Khashoggi has been the topic for weeks and reasonably so. The outrage of the torturous murder of an American resident has failed to persuade the President to act, deciding to transfer his moral authority and oath of office to the Saudi regime responsible for this heinous act of inhumanity.

In May of 2017, the American President Trump, desperate for the 100 billion dollar stock offering to be brought to the USA that Aramco was considering making, made Saudi Arabia his first international visit. Always impressed with pomp, circumstance and authoritarians, Trump was smitten by the potential number of zeros the Saudis represent. Already suffering from the economic perhaps of the proposals of tariffs, discarded trade treaties and deals, the holder of the Oval Office had a must win attitude for making the Saudi deals work. All of them, including a 350 Billion-plus arms deal. One of the few actions taken by Trump that might seem like a win for the embattled politician has come with a significant moral price. The one of accepting as State sanctioned murder as just part of the cost of doing business.

Trump claims he has no financial concerns in Saudi Arabia - an important distinction, for his buildings have certainly sold apartments and condos to the Saudi Royal Family for decades right here in the USA. Something like over 100 million dollars worth, and his family has significant investments in connection with MBS, his siblings, cousins and friends in various and somewhat sundry projects worldwide. All of those facts would be enough to stimulate federal law enforcement officials to start seriously looking into Trump's motivation to giving the Prince a pass all by itself and while the world has expressed their disgust and anger at the the behavior of MBS and his good friend and fellow businessman, Donald J Trump, there has been little wrritten about the motivation behind the capital offense committed by the Saudi Intelligence service.

Jamal Khashoggi was Director of Al Arab, a short-lived news channel that was intended to practice objective journalism, a near first in the region. Khashoggi had been drafted from the print world where he had reigned as an editor of Al Watan who had come under fire for his publication of an article that criticized the Saudi state religion. Khashoggi was removed from his position, but was afforded the opportunity to bring his efforts to practice freedom in journalism by Al-Waleed bin Talal, a prince and member of the Sauds, who is also an investor in News Corp.

Talal had also had his own issues when MBS decided to incarcerate the owner of the Kingdom Holdings Group on charges of corruption, until a payout to the Saudi government (the Wall Street Journal estimated that around 6 billion US changed hands - most likely into MBS' control, if not his hands directly).

This leads to the actual query. Why was it so important for Jamal Khasogghi to be executed? What was he working on at the time of his death? It is difficult to believe that a dissident's former reporting that had already made the newswires years ago would be an adequate reason to summon him to Turkey in order to torture, dismember while alive and then be summarily executed by a hand-picked team flown into the crime scene for that specific purpose.

What does the Crown Prince have on the Trump family?

Trump Stands By MBS Despite Khashoggi Murder

President Donald Trump has been downplaying the brutal murder of journalist Jamal Khashoggi, which the CIA reportedly has concluded was ordered by the Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, since the very first reports began emerging from Turkish Intelligence sources in early October.

Trump has privately called the assassination "really bad," but immediately added yet another Trumpist false equivalency that other countries America deals with, including China, do "a lot of bad things", invoking a moral relativism that claims weapons sales and jobs are more important than human rights, the rule of law or America's standing as a beacon of freedom in the world.

Trump has instead echoed each and every denial from "MBS" and the Saudi regime - starting with video of a double in a fake beard leaving the consulate, to an "accident", to an argument that got out of control - despite mounting evidence of a fifteen-man Saudi hit squad flown into Istanbul for the sole purpose of torturing, beheading and then dismembering and disposing of Khashoggi's body, while wondering aloud to aides why America should care about what happened to Jamal Khashoggi, since the journalist was not a U.S. citizen and the murder didn't happen here.

"Fox News Sunday" host Chris Wallace asked Trump whether MBS lied to him. "I don't know. You know, who can really know?" Trump replied. "But I can say this, he's got many people now that say he had no knowledge."

"Maybe he did, maybe he didn't".

                          By Jonathan Swan

                          Axios

                          November 20, 2018

President Trump said in a statement Tuesday that the U.S. will stand by Saudi Arabia regardless of whether Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman (MBS) ordered the murder of journalist Jamal Khashoggi.

Why it matters: Saudi Arabia and MBS will face no repercussions after an assassination some believed would fundamentally change the relationship. Democrats in Congress have been calling for a re-evaluation of the relationship, but Trump's position is that security and economic benefits make the relationship too important. "We may never know all of the facts surrounding the murder of Mr. Jamal Khashoggi. In any case, our relationship is with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia," he said.

The backdrop: The Saudis are central to Trump's Middle East strategy, and he has been hesitant to rock the boat in the wake of Khashoggi's murder. Axios' Jonathan Swan has reported that, while Trump has admitted the murder of Khashoggi is "really bad," he has been privately questioning why the response has been so strong, especially when compared to the abuses from other countries like China.

Details: Trump said in his Tuesday statement that Saudi representatives described Khashoggi as a member of the Muslim Brotherhood. A Saudi official denied to the Washington Post that MBS made the characterization on a call with U.S. officials.

                          • The statement follows an NBC News report that the administration was considering expelling Turkish cleric Fethullah Gulen, an enemy of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, in order to convince Turkey to ease up on the Saudis.

                          Full statement:

The world is a very dangerous place!

The country of Iran, as an example, is responsible for a bloody proxy war against Saudi Arabia in Yemen, trying to destabilize Iraq’s fragile attempt at democracy, supporting the terror group Hezbollah in Lebanon, propping up dictator Bashar Assad in Syria (who has killed millions of his own citizens), and much more. Likewise, the Iranians have killed many Americans and other innocent people throughout the Middle East. Iran states openly, and with great force, “Death to America!” and “Death to Israel!” Iran is considered “the world’s leading sponsor of terror.”

On the other hand, Saudi Arabia would gladly withdraw from Yemen if the Iranians would agree to leave. They would immediately provide desperately needed humanitarian assistance. Additionally, Saudi Arabia has agreed to spend billions of dollars in leading the fight against Radical Islamic Terrorism.

After my heavily negotiated trip to Saudi Arabia last year, the Kingdom agreed to spend and invest $450 billion in the United States. This is a record amount of money. It will create hundreds of thousands of jobs, tremendous economic development, and much additional wealth for the United States. Of the $450 billion, $110 billion will be spent on the purchase of military equipment from Boeing, Lockheed Martin, Raytheon and many other great U.S. defense contractors. If we foolishly cancel these contracts, Russia and China would be the enormous beneficiaries - and very happy to acquire all of this newfound business. It would be a wonderful gift to them directly from the United States!

The crime against Jamal Khashoggi was a terrible one, and one that our country does not condone. Indeed, we have taken strong action against those already known to have participated in the murder. After great independent research, we now know many details of this horrible crime. We have already sanctioned 17 Saudis known to have been involved in the murder of Mr. Khashoggi, and the disposal of his body.

Representatives of Saudi Arabia say that Jamal Khashoggi was an “enemy of the state” and a member of the Muslim Brotherhood, but my decision is in no way based on that – this is an unacceptable and horrible crime. King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman vigorously deny any knowledge of the planning or execution of the murder of Mr. Khashoggi. Our intelligence agencies continue to assess all information, but it could very well be that the Crown Prince had knowledge of this tragic event – maybe he did and maybe he didn’t!

That being said, we may never know all of the facts surrounding the murder of Mr. Jamal Khashoggi. In any case, our relationship is with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. They have been a great ally in our very important fight against Iran. The United States intends to remain a steadfast partner of Saudi Arabia to ensure the interests of our country, Israel and all other partners in the region. It is our paramount goal to fully eliminate the threat of terrorism throughout the world!
I understand there are members of Congress who, for political or other reasons, would like to go in a different direction - and they are free to do so. I will consider whatever ideas are presented to me, but only if they are consistent with the absolute security and safety of America. After the United States, Saudi Arabia is the largest oil producing nation in the world. They have worked closely with us and have been very responsive to my requests to keeping oil prices at reasonable levels – so important for the world. As President of the United States I intend to ensure that, in a very dangerous world, America is pursuing its national interests and vigorously contesting countries that wish to do us harm. Very simply it is called America First!

                              HYPOCRISY? Surprise, surprise, surprise!

One of the questions posed by the Morning Joe Show panel this morning was, what is the difference between Hillary's use of a private email account and Ivanka's. The short answer is Ivanka is NOT Hillary Clinton and she is not running for president as a Democrat. There are many other answers, including that the press and republicans have not constantly demonized Ivanka for over two decades BECAUSE they knew she would run for president one day.

The Clinton email scandal was purely political. The fact is, and EVERY investigation bears this out, that as Hillary stated at the beginning, she did not send or receive any information that was classified at the time it was sent or received. Was it legitimate to investigate her emails to confirm that claim? OF COURSE! However, the investigation should have been confidential and focused on that alone, and not made into a political ploy as republicans wanted and the press obliged.

Will a Democratic controlled House of Representatives investigate Ivanka's emails? Probably, but I hope they focus more on whether any information was classified at the time the emails were sent or received, rather than any political objective.

However, Ivanka's emails COULD reveal evidence related to Trump's relationship with Putin, and that would be a valid reason to investigate them.

We all know that republicans are hypocrites, so an investigation is not necessary to make that determination. We also know that the media recognizes that Ivanka's email scandal will not generate the revenue that Hillary's email scandal did, so it won't get nearly as much coverage.

Lock her up? Personally, I'd rather see her father locked up.

Ivanka Trump, the eldest daughter of President Donald Trump and his official adviser, used a personal account to send hundreds of emails last year related to government business, according to sources who spoke with The Washington Post.

If true, the behavior casts a hypocritical light on the president, who made Democratic opponent Hillary Clinton’s misuse of a private email server the focal point of his campaign ― something he still does when he encourages his supporters chanting “Lock her up!” at his rallies.

Many of Ivanka Trump’s alleged emails ― sent to White House aides, Cabinet officials and her assistants ― were sent in violation of federal records rules. They were unearthed last fall by five Cabinet agencies that were going through emails in response to a public records lawsuit.

“She was the worst offender in the White House,” said one former senior U.S. government official who spoke to the Post about Trump’s inappropriate use of her personal email account, which she shared with husband, Jared Kushner, under the domain “ijkfamily.com.”

Trump’s actions may violate the Presidential Records Act, which mandates that all official White House communications and records be preserved in a permanent archive. Perhaps more concerning, her use of a private email server may increase the risk of sensitive information falling into the wrong hands.

Many of the details in the emails were related to Trump’s official work schedule, travel details and meeting arrangements with public and private sector workers.

The president has also come under fire recently for skirting security measures in his communications. Last month, The New York Times dropped a bombshell report that he continues to use an unsecured iPhone even though his aides told him that Chinese and Russian spies were listening in on his conversations through it.

Was reading an article in Politico were the Finish president denied saying to Trump they rake their forest floors, a claim Trump made when visiting California.Trump is hell-bent on pushing out crazy theories on the cause of the forest fires that have plagued the great state of California.

His constant need to pretend he is an expert on everything is beyond annoying. Telling the

folks who have lost everything, that it all could have been prevented if they had just gone to the forest and started raking up underbrush, which is a natural occurrence is just cruel and the height of ignorance on his part.

Which is why I think this should be his stocking stuffer for Christmas.

W.H. Staff Describes A "New Level Of Insanity"

                                      By Ray Cunneff

                                      November 16, 2018

Today's chapter of History's First Draft reads like a cross between a suspense thriller and a tragedy of Shakespearean inevitability. We have the image of the mad king Trump growling and prowling the White House corridors of power, looking for someone to blame, turning on his already disfunctional staff with a "new level of insanity" unlike anything they've seen before.

The last of the Oval Office guardrails removed, the 'lame duck' Congress adjourned to face constituents back home, subpoenas and/or indictments expected almost any moment from the Mueller investigation, President Donald Trump is under pressure, at maximum volatility. It's a month-and-a-half until Democrats assume the majority in the House with the promise of investigations and possible impeachment and even criminal charges.

So how crazy can it get? Is anyone, of any political pedigree, in a position to call for an intervention?

Trump is in the "Captain Queeg" phase of decompensation, precisely measuring the theft of his strawberries of success by disloyal invader-loving traitors refusing to submit to his absolute presidential authority.

He'd rather send thousands of U.S. military personnel to the southern border (actually, 90 miles from it) for an expensive political stunt instead of offering meaningful assistance to the victims of the worst wildfires in California history.

His "fake news" proclamations leave us questioning self-evident reality while his "truth is not truth" and "it's not a lie if you believe it" rationales make "alternative facts" sound plausibly confounding in support of Trump's alternate reality, a parallel universe in which negative emotions are converted into positive delusions, leaving the people adrift in factual uncertainty.

Assuming we all survive until the New Year, that Trump hasn't provoked a war somewhere expecting the nation to rally 'round the Commander-in Chief, or that his trade wars haven't started to damage key segments of the economy, or that the country hasn't suffered a cyber attack that the Trumpistas have refused to prepare for, the new Congress will face an even starker choice than in the past.

And the noose continues to tighten, the circle of advisers gets smaller.

So how crazy can it get?

Throw a dart at a map of the world and there is every possibility you will hit and area that is dealing with a percentage of that population being hoodwinked and conned into believing that despite the democratic machinations that are in place.

The imperfections of a democracy tend to be known to all who participate in it and more often than not disregard those little imperfections because they are constantly and continually hit with a barrage of rhetoric to confuse and conquer. In this modern progressive world all politics aren't always local and the radius of any vote or election can have serious ramifications for those beyond the boundaries of those voting within.

Over the last week I have watched this play out in real time in the continued mess of a Brexit that was one of those instances where the above is proven.

No one will argue that in 2016 the world seemed to lose its mind. The two massive earthquakes of the leave vote in the UK and of course the election of a criminal president.

Both movements had one thing in common. Both had the ability to openly lie to the public within the their campaigns, both used fear and lies to stoke up the almost extinguished minds of those who hate with ease and blame with no effort.

The UK has always had its extremes among the population and the same racist superiority complex of those in America. An arrogance that either ignores the entirety of history or does everything possible rewrite the more uncomfortable periods of that history.

In the UK during the second half of the 2oth century the colour and makeup of that society changed with the shrinking empire and the growth of those who resided in the former colonies. India, Pakistan the West Indies along with other places where the history of the British Empire and the taking of lands not theirs to begin with.

The hypocrisy of those who claimed prior to the Brexit vote that it was all about taking back control of borders and sovereignty and laws ignoring the many nations whose sovereignty and laws were not respected in the doctrine of the 'White mans burden'. A doctrine that at its very core was the worst type of dehumanising racism and founded on the British mindset of being superior to those whose lands that simply took without asking. Great empires are never built upon anything other than invasion, subjugation and enslaving the conquered. When empires fall the subjugated and enslaved are left behind dealing with the ghosts of former rulers that often lead to terrible deprivation for the people.

In the present day it is much more about the enslaved minds of those who bought into the idea that leaving the EU would be a simple process, a straight forward in or out vote.

A massive lie sold in the referendum vote. Many of those Imperialist British types who are the drivers of the current and ongoing Brexit mess are the very same people who took the chains off the types of racism their once great empire thrived upon.

Words like invasion and infestation regarding inward migration. A hatred towards Eastern Europeans coming in taking jobs that many wouldn't do as those jobs were deemed beneath those who were born in the UK but think the world owes them a favour.

For those who wouldn't do those menial tasks and basic paying jobs then proceeded to complain about not getting public housing because of the 'foreigners' getting housed ahead of those who see this as being forgotten (sound familiar?). The ease of which blame falls upon others who have done no wrong other than show up the lazed nature of those who feel entitled yet did nothing to earn such entitlements.

You may say is unfair or easy or convenient to simply call many of those who voted Leave were racist and angry at foreigners taking their jobs.

                                          Until you see this.

Rich and fertile land for those whose rhetoric was based upon lies, false promises and a fantasy future based upon nothing other than fanciful thinking.

Those who claimed that the negotiations would be easy were lying to the people. Those who claimed they knew what they were voting for continually lie to themselves when challenged that they did not know what they were voting for. Those people will take great um bridge and claim that they knew exactly what they voted for and believe challenging that is an insult as it is easier to take offence that to admit the cock up they made by believing the lies they embraced (Again, sound familiar?).

But reality is a fickle and unforgiving teacher and the lessons are often just as unforgiving. Those who would tell everyone who would listen that they are correct and it is offensive to suggest their decision wasn't thought through properly, with due diligence and understanding the true beyond the comfort of rhetoric that not only plays to the darker beliefs but allows those beliefs to come into the light.

Those who play this dangerous game, those politicians who are only in politics to profit from any political system will tell the (deliberately) less informed that their way of life is at stake. When that's not the case at all.

With the last week has come that moment when rhetoric and reality slammed into each other. The lies told by the millionaire politicians to the unemployed and low wage classes are now coming apart as the UK continues to self cannibalise itself in front of the world, a little comfort to my American brothers and sisters that it ain't just the US being assaulted from within by the greed of many.

The true drivers of those who demanded a vote to leave the EU are those whose private wealth far exceeds the finances of the foolish and the fooled who jumped on board the Nationalist narrative that they would be better off.

Millionaires and billionaires desperate to get out of the rules and regulations that have actually improved the rights of all Europeans in laws and rights. Paid work leave, Maternity leave and protections for new mothers returning to work and a host of other huge benefits for all Europeans.

Of course one of thing is missing from the extremes of Brexit types that they don't want to say out loud. The millionaires and billionaires who would have to be a little more open about their finances and the sources of their extraordinary wealth should the UK actually remain.

                                          https://ec.europa.eu/taxation_customs/business/com...

                                          The Anti Tax Avoidance Directive

Rules that could lead to exposure of these massive finances that aren't mentioned by those who duped the poor and working classes who bought the lies of nationalism dripping in an anti-immigrant hatred (Again.....sound familiar)

The rich who are the extremes of Brexit thinking will say that should the UK crash out without a deal that there may be some short term financial hardships but that ultimately it would be great in the long term. Yet ask one of them how much a weekly grocery bill is and they'd wilt. They won't feel the pain, struggle with the bills or have to take on a second job.

They won't feel any pain. They're stinking filthy rich and are only duping those who don't know any better.

As of this very moment the British government is coming apart at the seams but Theresa May is seemingly hanging in there to deliver the 'will of the people' despite the will of the people in the contemporary are demanding the idea of leaving the EU being put back to the People. If she survives the weekend this latest agreement will be taken to the EU parliament and then voted on in parliament in London where it is expected to be voted down thus plunging the UK into more self inflicted uncertainty.

The people of the UK are now fearful of an already uncertain future and the coming weeks and months will only see more turmoil and strife among the Conservative government.

For those of you who would like to know what the outcome of all this may be........

Ask me in 20 minutes as it appears that's where we are right now. We are in that place where Rhetoric meets Reality....

                                          And reality rules.
